A manager listening to a colleague during a private workplace conversation

For managers and Team Leads

Understand your team. Prepare with private coaching.

Unsure how an important conversation will land? Completed 5-minute assessments create practical Personality profiles and Team dynamics where permissions allow. A Coaching seat gives Team Leads Bilee, their private, always-on AI Coach, to help them prepare.

When the people part needs more thought

Better preparation for the conversations already in your diary

MyTeamBuilder gives you useful context about how people prefer to work, plus a private place to test your assumptions and decide what you will say, ask and listen for next.

Difficult feedback

Work out how to be clear about the issue without losing sight of the person receiving the feedback.

A 1:1 that is not landing

Consider whether someone wants space to reflect, practical detail or a more open conversation before changing your approach.

Friction in a decision

Recognise different decision-making styles and prepare a team discussion that gives each person a useful way into it.

Team dynamics Built from completed profiles

A shared view of working preferences

Use Team dynamics to ask better questions, not label people

The assessment contains 36 questions and is consistently described as taking 5 minutes. Each completed assessment produces a Personality profile. Those profiles can contribute to Team dynamics where permissions allow, whether the person has assessment-only or coaching access.

Team dynamics can help you notice where one person wants early detail and another wants room to explore, or where different decision-making styles may be pulling a meeting in opposite directions. Treat the view as a prompt for discussion, not a diagnosis, performance score or judgement about suitability.

You can see a person’s profile only where your existing role and team permissions allow. Being a manager does not create blanket access to every profile.

Two different views, with different sources

Team dynamics is not Organisation Insights

One helps a team discuss completed profiles. The other groups anonymised mood and topic patterns only when there is enough coaching activity to protect individuals.

Team dynamics uses completed Personality profiles for a permitted team to support conversations about working styles.

Organisation Insights is separate. When there is enough coaching activity to protect anonymity, it groups mood and topic patterns into organisation-level trends without showing or attributing messages.

Private support for a Team Lead

Use Bilee to turn context into a practical next step

Anyone acting as a Team Lead requires a Coach Seat. That provides signed-in access to Bilee, the person’s private AI Coach, for always-on preparation and reflection.

1

Bring the situation

Explain the feedback, 1:1 or conflict you are preparing for, including what feels difficult or unclear.

2

Explore your approach

Bilee can use your Personality profile and the permitted team context available to you to help you consider a more thoughtful conversation.

3

Decide what to do

Leave with language to try, questions to ask or a clearer structure for the conversation—while keeping the judgement with you.

Who receives which experience

Your team can contribute to shared understanding without everyone receiving Bilee

The two access types are deliberately different. Only an authorised Organisation Admin changes access; a Team Lead may not be the Organisation Admin.

Assessment-only access

A profile and permitted team contribution

A person follows their unique invitation, completes the 36-question, 5-minute assessment and receives a practical Personality profile. Their completed profile can contribute to Team dynamics where permissions allow.

An Assessment seat does not include sign-in, Bilee or authenticated coaching tools.

Coaching access

Private, always-on support from Bilee

A Coaching seat includes sign-in and Bilee, alongside the authenticated tools available to that person’s role. An Organisation Admin can change someone’s access later without asking them to repeat the assessment.

Every Organisation Admin occupies a Coach Seat, and anyone acting as a Team Lead requires one.

A boundary people can rely on

Team context never opens someone else’s coaching conversation

Profile visibility, Team dynamics, private coaching and anonymised organisation trends remain separate experiences.

Individual coaching is 100% confidential. Organisation Insights are anonymised; no individual messages are visible to Organisation Admins or Team Leads.

Confidential means an Organisation Admin or Team Lead cannot read or identify a person’s coaching messages. Organisation Insights only presents anonymised patterns when there is enough coaching activity to protect individuals. See the full data boundaries.

Used before the conversation

“I found it super helpful to just ask for coaching before doing 1-1s as the system understands me, knows my direct reports and suggested excellent ways to approach each team member.”
