The privacy promise
This is the boundary we design every feature around — not a policy we bolted on afterwards.
Individual coaching is 100% confidential. Organisation Insights are anonymised; no individual messages are visible to Organisation Admins or Team Leads.
Meeting Insights are private to the person viewing them. Assessment Users have no Bilee conversations, Meeting Insights or generated documents because assessment-only access does not include authenticated coaching tools.
A completed Personality profile can contribute to Team dynamics where permissions allow. That shared team view is separate from private coaching and from anonymised Organisation Insights.
Who can see what
You
Your conversations with Bilee, your Meeting Insights, and any documents you generate about a person you're viewing. No one else sees these.
Your Team Lead
The team's anonymised Team dynamics picture and safe, aggregated signals. Never your individual coaching messages, documents, or calendar content.
Organisation Admins
Anonymised, aggregated Organisation Insights and organisation-management tools. Organisation Admins occupy a Coach Seat like anyone else — their role adds management access, not visibility into your private coaching.
No one else
Other Coaching seats, Assessment seats, and people outside your organisation never see your private coaching, Meeting Insights, or generated documents.
How we protect your data and payments
We'd rather tell you exactly what's true than reach for security buzzwords.
Cyber Essentials certified
MyTeamBuilder is Cyber Essentials certified, a UK government-backed cyber security standard.
Coaching conversations encrypted
Coaching conversations are encrypted with AES-256. Individual coaching content is never visible to managers, HR or admins.
Payments secured by Stripe
Payments are handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Your card details never touch our servers.
Two-factor authentication
Web users can add two-factor authentication to their account for an extra layer of sign-in security.
GDPR-compliant data handling
We handle personal data in line with UK GDPR requirements, including how long we keep it and how you can request its deletion.

No. Individual coaching is 100% confidential. This applies to every manager, Team Lead and Organisation Admin — including the Organisation Admin who set up your organisation.
Anonymised, aggregated Organisation Insights such as mood trends and topic themes across the organisation — never an individual message, and never a signal attributable to one person or a small, identifiable group.
We're Cyber Essentials certified today. We haven't completed SOC 2 or ISO 27001, and we won't claim them until we have. If your procurement process needs specific documentation, email us and we'll tell you exactly what we can provide.
Yes. Payments are handled by Stripe, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. Your card details are entered directly into Stripe and never touch our servers.
Once you're signed in, you can enable two-factor authentication from your account settings for an extra layer of protection on your login.
Yes. Everyone's assessment responses and Personality profile are handled under the same privacy rules, whether they hold a Coaching seat or an Assessment seat. Assessment seats simply don't have Bilee conversations or Meeting Insights to protect, because they don't have that access.
